Competence of the Department
- Performs the tasks of a mandatory part of comment procedure in the area of external legislation
- Prepares draft opinions on the unification of the interpretation of laws and other legal regulations in the exercise of the powers of the public prosecution
- Prepares documentation for the use of the Prosecutor General’s authority to file an incentive to the President of the Supreme Court for a proposal for the Supreme Court to formulate an opinion to interpretation of laws or other legal enactments
- Ensures the external relations of the Prosecutor General’s Office and cooperation with public authorities, professional organizations, and other domestic and international institutions within its jurisdiction
- Covers and coordinates the activities of public prosecution experts in working groups and advisory bodies
- Coordinates the preparation of education concepts for public prosecutors, legal trainees, assistants, and senior public prosecutor’s office officials
- Coordinates activities in the field of expertise in areas falling within the jurisdiction of the public prosecutor’s office
